The coalition members consist of individuals in the community who work with breastfeeding moms. We have members from Stormont Vail Hospital, St. Francis Hospital, the Shawnee County Health Department, K-State Research and Extension and many more organizations.

The coalition meets the first Wednesday of each month at 3:30 pm. Previous to COVID-19, we would meet with the location rotating between the Shawnee County Health Department, Stormont Vail Health and University of Kansas St Francis campus. Currently we meet via Go To Meeting set up by the Kansas Breastfeeding Coalition (KBC). We usually have anywhere between 8-12 members in attendance.
